Here’s what we’re all about.
At Creekside Fellowship, we work hard at maintaining gospel-centrality. This means that the gospel itself is not one of our core values. Rather, the gospel is that which defines who we are in Jesus and then leads us to embrace the following values.
Truth
We value truth as the revealed nature and will of God, and as Jesus Christ who said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Worship
The gospel unites us to God, and we therefore value worship as the church gathered around the Word and sacrament, and as a life of faith lived for the glory and pleasure of God.
Community
As the gospel unites us to one another, we value community as the way God intends us to live as the Church. We are the family of God unto the mission of God. We love one another deeply, while actively inviting others to join our community.
Mission
In the gospel, Jesus sends us—as the church—into the world to make disciples of all nations. Every aspect of our lives are to be lived on mission as ambassadors of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Restoration
Through the gospel, God brings restoration to humanity and creation itself. We reflect this gospel hope of restoration through the preaching of the gospel and works of mercy.
